Silent Touch Foundation Trains Communities in Soap-Making to Improve Livelihoods

Published: June 25, 2026

The Silent Touch Foundation has successfully conducted a community soap-making training program aimed at equipping local residents with practical skills that can generate income and improve household livelihoods.

The training brought together community members, including women, youth, and other vulnerable groups, to learn the process of making liquid soap and other household cleaning products. Participants received hands-on training covering production techniques, quality assurance, packaging, and basic entrepreneurship skills.

The initiative is part of the foundation’s ongoing commitment to empowering communities through vocational skills development. By learning soap-making, participants can establish small businesses, create employment opportunities, and increase household income.

Speaking during the training, foundation representatives emphasized the importance of practical skills in promoting self-reliance and reducing poverty.

"Skills development is one of the most effective ways to empower communities. Through soap-making training, participants gain knowledge that can help them start income-generating activities and improve their quality of life."

Beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the opportunity, noting that the training has opened new possibilities for earning a living and supporting their families. Many participants plan to begin producing soap for both household use and commercial sale within their communities.

The program also encouraged collaboration among community members, fostering teamwork and the sharing of ideas on how to develop sustainable local enterprises.

The Silent Touch Foundation continues to invest in community empowerment initiatives, including baking, entrepreneurship, and vocational skills training, with the goal of building resilient and economically empowered communities
